It seems like every company and their mums are releasing a Disney Collab these days!
I popped into the Birmingham Cath Kidston Store (in Grand Central) in the hopes of snagging the mug I had my eye on after seeing the queues outside of Irregular Choice for their Mickey collection launching on the same day I wasn't that hopeful! turns out Cath Kidston was an oasis of calm and had the full collection which to be honest appeals more to me than the Irregular Choice offering around the corner! (not that I don't love Irregular Choice - there was something just 'off' for me about the Mickey collection). I ended up with a little more than a mug though...
But we will start with that first. I'd seen in it in there mailing catalogue and loved the print! I got a Mickey Mug from the last collection so it has become sort of a tradition plus If you know me you know I can't pass up on a mug! (much to my mums displeasure! although my mom actually pointed this one out in the catalogue so I think I'm off the hook!) I also picked up the blank greetings card for the collection because like I said I love the artwork for this collection!
So I'm completely blaming the next purchase on a combination of puppies, my sisters encouragement and the fact that its my Birthday in a few days (weak I know!)
The bag! I'd seen this in the mailing catalogue too and thought it was beautiful! but completly fell for it in the shop.
Its a really decent size with the print on the front and all over spot. The handles are just the right length to fit comfortable under my arm and it has a nice zip pocket inside which is handy for a more open bag like this one.
My thoughts were that it would be a great size to throw everything in day to day and would be brilliant to be used as hand luggage for my trip to Disneyland Paris at the end of the year
I loved Cath Kidston since I was about 15 years old (ten whole years! gosh I'm getting on!) and I got my first bag from them for my sixteenth as a present from my Nan, the bag is still going strong which is something I love about the brand that you always know you are buying something quality! I especially love these Disney Collab's even though like I said it seems like everyone and their mums are doing them at the moment but there is just something special about the combination between Cath Kidston and Disney!
I'm really looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeves next! I would personally love to see The Aristocats, Alice in Wonderland or even a princess or two!
