Today is my first day of two weeks holiday time from work, I had a little tidy around and did some bits and bobs in my room which needed doing but I haven't gotten around to like putting up some prints and finding homes for some new purchases.
I started out with just one of these shelfs (from B&M bargains) and my collection quickly outgrew it luckily the shelfs are still been stocked so I grabbed another as they are the perfect tsum tsum tsum display. I have my Tsums divided into sets as well as Pixar, Classics and Star Wars.
In front of my tsum tsum display I have my Beauty and the Beast 'shrine' :) the Lumiere and Cogsworth are both from the Disney Store and the Enchanted Rose is a DIY by me which I made last week and I'm completely in love with. I really want the Chip mug from the Disney Store but the Birmingham branch doesn't have it.
The bookcases I display my Disney Collection on are from IKEA and they are the BILLY ones just in different sizes, I've run out of room now so another one will have be purchased if I keep buying (which I am bound to)
On the smaller shelf Ive displayed most of my figure collection sets, I love these sets from the Disney Store they are a great way of having something from all the new releases'/favourites. On these shelfs there is also Tsum Tsum vinyls - I completed series 4 of the mystery stack packs last month which gave me a weird sense of accomplishment. I also keep some non Disney items on the bottom shelf - Ghostbusters lego, Doctor Who and my 'accidental' Coneheads action figure collection.
On the taller shelf at the bottom I keep my Animator Collection, I have had the Ariel doll for quite some time (I even have the box art as a tattoo) but my love for the Animators collection has grown just in the past few months since the beginning of the year and its even spilling out onto more shelves, the Boo mini carry case is my newest purchase along with the Tangled littles play set.
The shelf above my Animators collection is Moana themed with some overspill from everything else. I saw Moana early through the Disney Store and fell in love with it! absolutely can't wait until the DVD comes out! Moana is also special to me because she is my first Limited Edition Doll! the doll is absolutely beautiful and has definitely given me the LE doll bug.
The next shelf is Toy Story along with Lego Wall-E. The Toy Story items are special because most of them are 'Vintage' the Woody and Buzz belonged to my older brother which I have since rescued from storage.
Then we move onto Star Wars. Poe's X-wing is what I'm calling the gateway lego drug, It was the first Lego I had built since I was little and now I can't get enough of lego (there are four sets of lego on this shelf alone!) K2SO is my babe so the little corner of the shelf is dedicated to him ♥
Above the Star Wars shelf in the Tsum Tsum bags (I recently emptied them of there Tsums and put them on my display shelf because I wasnt getting to see the minis inside very often) then above them in the boxed Tsums I have, my favourites are the christmas and valentines two packs so cute!
Moving along to the other side of the room we have my Barbie dream house cabinet, I painted the cabinet myself and I'm really happy with the way it turned out! its used to house some of the more 'girly' non disney items like ponies and polly pockets.
Ontop of the Cabinet is my Holy grail enid doll, a sky dancer, my totally hair Barbie re-release and some other cute thingamabobs.
The top shelf homes My Little Pony, Lalaloopsies and other bits and pieces including vintage Barbie McDonalds toys. Then we have the Polly Pocket shelf including the crowning glory of Polly Pocket Disney Castle, me and my sister had this as children but god knows where it went and I found this complete one on eBay for a good price on eBay a couple of years ago, my Zelf collection also hangs out here. The bottom shelf is kind of a hodge podge of everything else nostalgic.
Above the Barbie Cabinet is my Funko Pop collection, I added the bottom shelf today because I had outgrown the top two. The top shelf is now Star Wars and then my others (game of thrones, clueless etc.) the smaller shelf in Sailor Moon Pops of course I brought all six in one go like a mad woman because I got over excited about actually seeing them in the comic book shop. The newest shelf holds my Disney Pops, the most recent addition is the Belle Pop which a Smyths toys exclusive here in the UK and its Belle with Lumiere. After watching the film I really want to get all the new Beauty and the Beast Pops.
And Lastly is my bed where my soft toy collection mostly hangs out (when they are not all over the floor) the newest addition here is my easter Minnie tsum which I love! I've got my eye on some of the new releases at the Disney Store though especially the Ursula!
Looking back through my Instagram I am really proud of how much my collection as grown in the past couple of years, I want to do a post like this every couple of months at least to record how much my collection has grown. I also made a short(wish) video tour of my collection which shows some things up close :)
